Apple Bundt Cake

  • Ingredients
  • For the Cake:
  • 1 box of yellow cake mix
  • 2 small instant vanilla puddings
  • 1/2 cup Vegetable Oil
  • 1 cup water
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup Applesauce
  • 1 1/2 cups diced apple
  • 3/4 cup cinnamon baking chips
  • 1 tablespoon Cinnamon
  • For the Icing:
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 3-4 tablespoons milk
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • More Cinnamon Chips for garnish
  1. Instructions
  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  3. Combine cake mix, puddings, oil, water, eggs, applesauce, apples, cinnamon baking chips, and 1 tablespoon cinnamon with electric mixer. Pour into prepared bundt pan. (Be sure to grease or spray with nonstick spray)
  4. Bake 40-45 minutes. To check if its done, you can insert a toothpick. If it comes out clean, its done!
  5. Let cake cool on counter for about 10 minutes. Then, invert cake onto serving plate to finish cooling.
  6. For the icing: combine the cream cheese, butter, milk, 1 T. Cinnamon, and powdered sugar in a mixing bowl. Blend until fluffy.
  7. Once cake is cooled, top with icing and sprinkle with more cinnamon chips.
