These easy baked pesto chicken sliders are just 5 main ingredients but full of flavor! They are great for a party or game day appetizer!

  • Ingredients
  • 12 Hawaiian rolls (or substitute whole wheat slider buns)
  • 1 cup packed fresh spinach leaves, roughly chopped
  • 2 cups rotisserie chicken breast, shredded or chopped
  • 1/2 cup prepared pesto
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 clove garlic, minced
  • Pinch of salt and black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  1. Instructions
  2. Preheat the oven to 350.
  3. Use a bread knife to cut the rolls in half horizontally and remove the top. Place the bottom of the rolls on a foil-lined baking sheet.
  4. Sprinkle a layer of the chopped fresh spinach over the rolls.
  5. Mix the chopped chicken with the pesto in a bowl and then divide evenly over the rolls on top of the spinach.
  6. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the pesto chicken and replace the tops of the rolls.
  7. In a small bowl, mix the butter, garlic, salt, pepper and Parmesan cheese. Brush the mixture over the tops of the rolls.
  8. Bake at 350 on a middle rack for 15 minutes, until the rolls are warmed through and the tops are browned. Serve warm.
