Sopapilla is a really yummy cheesecake bar, really delicious and easy peasy to make.

  • Ingredients
  • 16 oz cream cheese
  • 2 (8 ounce) packages refrigerated crescent dough
  • 2 medium lemons, zested
  • ½ cup butter, melted
  • 1 ½ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  1. Instructions
  2. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  3. Place one package of crescent dough in the bottom of 9×13-inch glass baking dish.
  4. Stretch to cover the bottom of the dish.
  5. In a medium bowl combine the cream cheese, 1 cup of sugar and lemon zest.
  6. Mix well with a whisk.
  7. Spread the cheese filling over the dough in baking dish.
  8. Take the other crescent dough, stretch it and carefully place it over the filling.
  9. Mix ½ cup of sugar with cinnamon.
  10. Pour melted butter over the top and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar mixture.
  11. Bake for 30 minutes.
  12. Serve warm or refrigerate overnight and serve chilled.
